It was a pleasure to attend the Missouri Municipal League Annual Conference in Kansas City this year! I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with government leaders from hundreds of Missouri Cities. Chatting on Zoom or emailing are great, but they pale in comparison to meeting new and old friends face-to-face. Arndt Municipal Support Inc. sends our compliments and sincerest gratitude to the Missouri Municipal League for organizing and hosting this fantastic event. It was a truly memorable experience.
Making Powerful Connections
To every local government leader who stopped by the Arndt Municipal Support Inc. vendor booth, thank you! I appreciated the chance to connect, share ideas, and explore opportunities to support one another. It is easy to get tied up in the minutiae of managing our local governments, but events like the Missouri Municipal League Annual Conference help everyone to see the bigger picture and collaborate in the solution-searching process. I see your hard work, and I am here to tell you that you are valued and so very appreciated for all the dedication you give to your local government.
Reconnecting with Great Leaders from the Missouri Municipal League
I was especially thankful for the chance to reconnect with my former colleagues, Harold Selby from Pacific, Missouri, and Cozy Bailey, Mayor of St. Clair, Missouri. Hearing about the growth and opportunities in their respective local governments made me very happy, and it was nice to see their friendly faces. Let’s make time to see each other again soon!
Reviewing Reoccuring Trends
In reflecting on my conversations with local leaders, the topics that came up the most were policy writing assistance, strategic planning, City Council training, process improvement, and leadership team retreats. Arndt Municipal Support Inc. has the resources and the ideas you need to plan, execute, and reflect on all of these necessities. I enjoyed the chance to workshop solutions and explore different strategies with local leaders.
